Terms of Service

Using this service requires that you are 18 or over and legally capable of agreeing to these terms. You are responsible for anything done through your connection or account.

If using a service of this kind is illegal where you are, do not use it.

CamSurfCam puts two people into one live exchange carried over camera, microphone or keyboard. Group rooms do not exist, public profiles do not exist, and a pairing leaves no permanent record. Matching is random, and we do not promise that you will meet any particular kind of person or that the queue will be busy at any given hour.

The service is provided as it is. Live video depends on networks and devices we do not control, so we cannot guarantee that every call connects or that quality is always good.

• No sexual content, nudity or sexual solicitation.
• No harassment, hate, threats or attempts to intimidate anyone.
• Nobody under 18, and no content involving minors of any kind.
• No recording or redistributing another person without their knowledge and agreement.
• No impersonation, no pretending a recording is a live camera, and no bots or automation.
• No advertising, spam or attempts to move people onto other services for money.
• No attempts to break, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service.

The report button inside a call is the fastest route to a human. Reports are reviewed, and accounts that break the rules can be restricted or removed without notice. Repeat behaviour is treated as repeat behaviour.

Skipping, blocking and reporting are three different actions with three different effects; the safety page explains which to use and what happens afterwards.

The service is free to start. Free matches are available when you arrive and the Reward Center adds more while you stay online, as described on the rewards page. When those are used, matching continues on coins.

Coins are a prepaid balance for use inside CamSurfCam. They are not currency, they carry no cash value outside the service, and they are not transferable. Amounts and pricing can change, and the current figures are the ones shown in the app rather than any number quoted in a page like this.

There is no subscription requirement and nothing renews by itself unless you take out a membership, which can be cancelled from your account settings. The coins page states all of this in plain language.

What you show and say in a call is yours. By using the service you allow us to transmit it to the person you are matched with, which is the entire mechanism of a video chat.

You are responsible for having the right to show whatever appears on your camera.

Walking away is always available, and deletion of an account can be requested at any point. We can suspend or end access where these terms are broken, where required by law, or where continuing would put other people at risk.

So far as the law permits, indirect or knock-on losses arising from use of this service — including whatever another person says or does — are not something CamSurfCam carries liability for. The people you meet here are strangers, and the judgement you apply to them is your own.

Terms get revised from time to time; the date above moves with them, and carrying on using the service after a revision means the newer version governs. Questions go to [email protected].
